We are delighted to share that our Managing Partner, Immanuel A. Indrawan, had the honour of serving as one of the judges in the Paper Competition at 15th Business Law Competition, hosted by Business Law Society, Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia.
This year’s competition centered on the thought-provoking theme: “Harmonizing the Cabotage Principle with Globalized Investment Opportunities and Challenges in the Shipping Industry”. Thirteen delegations of law students from universities across Indonesia offered their innovative ideas of legal framework to support the development of Indonesia’s future shipping industry.
Each delegation submitted an insightful paper to be assessed during the preliminary round, held from 30 August to 17 September 2025. After careful evaluation, five outstanding papers were selected for the final stage, where the finalist presented their ideas before the judges on 11 October 2025.
It was truly inspiring to witness Indonesia’s next generation of legal scholars demonstrate exceptional research, critical analysis, and creative thinking in addressing complex challenges within the legal landscape of the Indonesian shipping industry. Their passion and ingenuity signal a bright future for the legal profession.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and the entire organizing committee for hosting such an excellent competition.
