On Saturday, 9 May 2026, our Managing Partner, Immanuel A. Indrawan, had the privilege of speaking at the Pre-Event Webinar of Atma Jaya Business Law Competition 2026 (ABLC 2026), organized by Atma Jaya Business Law Society, Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.
ABLC 2026 is a business law competition series held from May to August 2026 under the overarching theme “Revisiting Export Disputes in Commerce: Addressing Default, Risk, Demurrage, and Banking Payments.” The series consists of several stages and events, including the pre-event webinar and workshop, followed by the final rounds of competition.
As part of the webinar, Immanuel A. Indrawan delivered a session on “Carriage of Goods by Sea, Demurrage, and Documentary Collection in Exports-Imports.” The session featured dynamic and insightful exchanges between the speaker and highly engaged participants, exploring both legal and commercial dimensions of cross-border trade. Key topics included the application of Incoterms, carriage of goods by sea, demurrage exposure, and documentary collection payment mechanisms.
We extend our sincere appreciation to ABLC 2026 for organizing such an engaging event. We wish the committee continued success throughout the upcoming series of events and competitions.
We also hope this webinar serves as a valuable starting point for participants as they continue their journey throughout ABLC 2026 and beyond as future legal professionals.
